The Russian government is discussing a set of measures to support the agro-industrial industry against the background of imposing sanctions on the country and raising the key rate to 20%. A total of 44 billion rubles is planned to be allocated from the federal budget for the sowing campaign, soft loans and leasing for agricultural producers, according to the plan of priority actions to ensure the development of the Russian economy (Vedomosti read the latest copy of the document). Another 30 billion rubles. (in addition to the 100.4 billion rubles already provided for in the budget for 2022) will be allocated for the expansion of the program of preferential lending. Of these, 25 billion rubles. will have short-term loans (used to purchase planting material, fertilizers, pesticides, fuel) and another 5 billion rubles. – to secure liabilities for previous debts and investment loans (they are taken for 2-15 years for construction, reconstruction and modernization of enterprises). The remaining 2 billion rubles. It is planned to expand the program of subsidies for transportation. The Ministry of Agriculture has taken the initiative to allocate this money from the reserve fund for the uninterrupted supply of goods, taking into account the significantly expanded geography of transportation and the range of goods, a representative of the ministry confirmed. Subsidize the transportation of agricultural products (cereals, mineral fertilizers, products of processing of oilseeds, vegetables, oilseeds, fish and fish products) by rail with zero tariff, the state began in 2019.
